The Capilla de Viejo San Acacio
The oldest church building in Colorado, founded in the mid 1800’s by Hispano settlers. The community has used the church for more than 150 years and continues to celebrate Mass and the annual feast day of Santo Acacio there.

Zapata Falls Recreation Area
Cut from the rock face by glaciers and scoured by millennia of rushing water, cold water crashes through a 30 ft. cleft in the rock walls. The falls are a half-mile hike from the parking area, where mountain bike and wilderness hiking trails can also be accessed.

We offer daily and multi-day rentals of sandboards and sand sleds. We offer instruction on how to ride and how to have the maximum fun! Our day starts at 8am and we close at 6pm.
